Monday in the bag
Today, we got new teams. I am enjoying my team so far. My fellow interns are open and love to chat, and in a way they force me to talk even when I would rather not. In a good sense! Anyways, I worked on some more C# training today. I am really enjoying this tool because it thoroughly explains different types of code and how it can be utilized. I know that getting a better ground of C# will only benefit me in the 2Development Course. I just finished the section on structs. Structs are a value type. They differ from reference types because structs are immutable and their value cannot be changed. Prior to this section, we talked about custom inheritance. I found this really interesting because it makes codes cleaner and more efficient, — if you know how to use it properly. It makes total sense to have custom methods especially if you have multiple game items. Not only does it make the code easier to modify, it makes it way easier to read!! Imagine having a code that’s 1000+ lines long. Custom methods allow you to quickly locate the part of code you are referring to. I’m almost half way done with the 2Development Course and I am actively working on getting the foundations of C# locked in a loaded.
Here’s a meme that I am finding more relatable as time goes on.. lol
